– | The Big Quiz - Monthly – Our Quiz night - also fondly known as Bryan's Quiz, he has been doing it for ages and it is great, is held on the last Sunday of every month. Starting around 8.45pm to allow you to get a bite to eat before the 'serious stuff' begins! Teams of 2-6, each person pays £1pp to enter and the quiz has a spot the difference round, music round plus general knowledge questions. Cash prize. There is also the One Ton Question for a prize of £100 - with one devishly hard question. But for a £1.00 investment is always worth a punt. It is all a lot of fun and a great way to end the week. |

– | Christmas Skittles Parties – This is an excellent idea for the company or family Christmas party - as your guests not only get to eat some great food but partake in an activity that is not strenuous, but creates a little competitive banter and results in a lot of laughter and fun. With 3 different menu options suiting all budgets -everyone is taken care of. *Cold Self Service Buffet - the most economical option, but still offering plenty of great food for your guests. £13.25pp - the buffet style service lends a more informal feel to the party. *2 course menu to suit smaller budgets and appetites (Main course and dessert only £14.95pp) *3 courses - £18.95pp (Cost for either menu, for children under 10years - £12.95/£16.95) Any of these menus can be enjoyed for the same price at either lunch or dinner on any day of the week. – | Christmas Party Menus - Conservatory, Flints, Bar – Following the success in 2007 of offering the option of having a 2 course menu to suit smaller budgets and appetites (Main course and dessert only)- this will once again be offered to our Christmas Party guests. The cost remains the same as last year despite the myriad of price increases we have all had to bear this year. Two course option is £14.95pp or 3 courses - £18.95pp (Cost for either menu, for children under 10years - £12.95/£16.95) A £10pp non refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking. A discretionary service charge of 10% on all parties of 15+ people will be added. Please email us for a copy of the menu and to check date availability. |
| 25 Dec 2008 | – | Christmas Day Lunch - Tuesday 25th Dec – Open from 12 noon until 4pm Enjoy a glass of mulled wine on arrival and then sit back and relax, knowing that all the shopping, cooking and washing up will be taken care of!!!Reservations are available between 12-2pm. The price is £60pp, and under 10years is £35pp. This the same price as 2007. There will only be one menu running on the 25th and a named pre order and full payment on reservation will be requested. A full refund on cancellation will only be available before the 15th Dec, thereafter the payment will become non refundable in all circumstances. We are quite poplular for hosting both extended family groups as well as intimate tables of 2 - but if you are a larger group - it is advisable to book earlier rather than later. We were fully booked by mid November last year for Christmas Day - so don't delay! Please note The Mill Arms will close at 4pm on the 25th Dec - so that Ian and Andrea can collapse in a heap somewhere and enjoy a few hours of family time with their daughter, before the craziness that is Boxing Day! |
| 26 Dec 2008 | – | Boxing Day 26th Dec 2008 – Open at 12 noon until 5pm - only the bar will be open and no food will be served on the 26th - everyone has too much turkey at home to finish off! We regularly celebrate with about 200+ people - so come early to claim a bar stool or table - it is a great atmosphere and many come in fancy dress!!! |
